Hours at these spots often run into the evening, later than a typical coffee shop, and many stay open on weekends when demand is highest in White Plains. Seasonal and limited-time drink or dessert flavors are common, so a shop's current menu can differ from what is posted online; checking recent photos or calling ahead helps. Straws for bubble tea are typically wide to accommodate the toppings, and are provided automatically unless you ask for a regular one. White Plains is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and White Plains follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I walked by a few times and it looks closed but it's open. I tried to milk foam grape tea and it's delicious. Like hey tea in Manhattan!

I came into the whale tea to try an egg waffle. I chose the #7 with oreo cookies and chocolate wafer pieces and ice cream. After receiving my waffle, I had noticed it was the wrong order. I had been given the #8 which had a cluster of mango pieces and chocolate crumbs with a tiny bit of ice cream. I expressed to the cashier about how I had the wrong order, however, cashier was adamant she made a #7, and I pointed to #7 and said no it's not a #7, she then said yes its a #7 and pointed to #7. Again I'm like no it's not, and she was like yes it is. I wasn't going to keep the back and forth especially with a lot of customers in the store. I definitely will not be back, Kung fu tea is 10Γ better. Also, to pay well over 10 bucks for the waffle, it had a tiny bit of ice cream-ive had better.

I often visit Whale Teaβs Stamford, CT location, so I was curious to see how the White Plains branch of this Nanjing-based milk tea brand would compare. We ordered two brown sugar milk teas with foam and jelly boba. The drinks were served at a perfect warm temperature β cozy and satisfying. Customization is generous, from sugar levels to added ingredients, making it easy to personalize your drink. However, while the texture was pleasant, the flavor leaned too heavily on milk and lacked the deep, rich brown sugar intensity we were hoping for. Service was noticeably slow during our visit, even though the store wasnβt particularly busy. The space itself feels quite dim and a bit worn, missing the inviting brightness you often find in bubble tea shops. Overall, itβs a decent stop if youβre in the area, but compared to their other locations, this one feels a little underwhelming in both atmosphere and flavor.

I was in White Plains and saw the sign for Whale Teaβso excited to see that it was a boba shop! The shop is cute, and they have several self-service kiosks for ordering. The two baristas were friendly. I decided to order an egg bubble waffle and was given a choice of ice cream flavors. They made the waffle fresh, and it was warm, crunchy, and deliciousβa perfect treat for the cold weather. The ice cream added a nice sweetness. If Iβm ever in the area again, Iβd love to try their boba!

A great spot in White Plains. I've only been here once but it was nice. The prices aren't crazy high and they have a good selection of flavors and drinks. For White Plains it's definitely 5 stars. I'll have to try more flavors and visit again!
